ABOUT ME

I WANT TO HELP YOU TO MANAGE YOUR DIFFICULTIES AND ACCOMPANY YOU TOWARDS THE CHANGES YOU NEED IN

your life

My way
to Psychotherapy

in 4 steps

1

For more than thirteen years I worked as a development worker in a variety of countries from Colombia to Afghanistan, Sudan and Palestine. Talking to hundreds of victims taught me a multitude of lessons, sharpened my senses. The armed conflict, the situations of extreme poverty, the uncertainty of the future, they stick in your retina, impregnate your soul and tattoo your skin. In that flight, suddenly, you fix your eyes on the person who has laid eyes on you and you read in them a cry for help. You then realize that beyond the big picture, the community or the group, there is each one of these people, that each one carries his or her own unique suffering. It was a revelation. I discovered another way to help. So began my search for the tools to know how to do it.

2

With tons of effort and motivation, I combined my work with my Psychology studies, until I realized that this was my new path. I left my life as an aid worker and settled in the UK to finish my training at Cardiff University. Within this university, I participated in research projects in child psychology.

3

Eventually, I fell in love with cognitive behavioral psychotherapy for adults. I trained for 3 years at the University of South Wales. I found there the answers to that “how” to be able to support others in their search for comfort. In 2020, I specialized in online therapy.

4

My work focuses on individual psychological therapy for adults. I have specialized in depression and anxiety disorders. But my concern and my ethics move me to continue researching. I regularly attend trainings to explore and adapt new ways of helping. On the other hand, my passion for psychology and therapy motivates me in my social purpose: to reduce mental health fears and normalize what happens to us on an emotional level. I publish videos and share materials for free.

UNIQUENESS OF THE INDIVIDUAL:

I believe that each one of us lives with our own unique suffering.

PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT:

Individual resources are unique and must be cultivated so that we can serve as our own therapist.

PROFESSIONALISM WITH HUMAN QUALITY:

I combine intervention protocols backed by experience and scientific research with enormous doses of humanity.

PROFESSIONAL RESPECT:

I privilege the ethical and professional codes of the entities of which I am a member.

PROXIMITY:

I seek to bring psychological theories closer to our everyday life.

SOCIAL PURPOSE:

I firmly believe that working on and improving individual mental health is working on and improving social mental health.
